Dave  - i once had 8 of these which needed repair.  got i think 4 to going as 
some had wrong bds.  the power supply does fail, often one of the large caps 
on the supply.

I think there is no harm in pulling bds one at a time.  I found that one of 
the feedthrus on the RF block was shorted, or a cap just inside, on one unit.

  There is a very short jumper one one of the bds that lets the logic go to 
26 ghz.  the other change was a selected mixer, yours will likely work.
