Hi Alberto,
   To implement a tracking generator, above the range of the 8444, there
is a way to sync a sweep generator, such as an 8620, to the 8569.

   HP details this in App Note 150-3, pg 40.,  using an 8709A
synchronizer and an auxilliary oscillator.   This portion of the scheme
could be replacing with a couple modern parts.
