[Test-Equipment] 525A Frequency Converter

I have a couple of HP 523DR counters, which are probably a similar design to
the 524B but don't use plug-ins. They're 9-in. high rack-mount units, heavy
(of course), have six decades of neon-lamp displays, Lucite rods illuminated
by incandescent lamps for decimal points, and count up to a whopping 2 MHz.

What's fun is to take the cover off, turn out the lights, and just enjoy the
beauty of those 70-80 vacuum tubes glowing - not to mention that wonderful
scent of vintage electronics!
