hi all...
I have been lucky enough to buy a Nicolet 460 scope. It is a digital storage
scope from about 1989. It has four channels specified to 100mHz. Floppy disk
storage means it is possible to transfer a waveform to a pc for further processing.
After repairing some damage to the front panel it all seems to work correctly.
It is fairly large and heavy, similar to an old xt pc base unit.
I did find on the net some utilities from Nicolet which run on a pc to display
files from the scope
Questions......
What is "tact". It seems to be a software language for Nicolet but can find
little else about it?
Would it be useful?
Internally there is a keyboard socket (rj45) .What is the pinout? do I need it?
I would like to experiment with the gpib interface. Is any info about the
commands available?
thanks for reading.... dave(at)redgrass.gioserve.com
