[Test-Equipment] Tektronix DM502A auto-ranging DMM plugin

Some months ago, I put in a request to this list for a manual (preferably
PDF format) for above (I would still like one!). No offers were received
but have finally got the unit working (intermittent 'quality' earth on the
110/111 A/D chipset). Just need to do a recal now.
For completeness, I would like to get the temperature range working but
have no idea what Tektronix used in the probe (I am assuming that there are
no probes out there anymore).
By experiment, an external resistance of between ~160 Ohms and ~13 Ohms
linearly gives the range 199 to -199 degrees on the meter. Any info on the
device used in this probe would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance,
