[Test-Equipment] An Apology

Earlier I posted a message about wanting help in locating a manual or copy
of a manual for a PROTEK P2020 Oscilloscope. It was poorly worded and would
probably offend even the most casual list reader.

This is an apology and some background how that message got posted to the
net. I originally sent a message to the list saying I was new to the list
and seeking help. I also said that I had not received any reply to my
request to PROTEK for help. After I sent that message, I went ahead and
sent a second one to [email protected] asking for help a second time.

Unfortunately the original message was rejected by the list as I had
inadvertantly originated it on a different mail account than the one I
signed up with. (murphy's law at it's best!) Then in haste I copied the
text from the message to protek into the posting, not the original complete
one to the list.

I'm very sorry for wasting the bandwidth with this, but I wanted to clear
things up. I've been a member of the R390 and Milsurplus lists for several
years with no problems such as this.

I still would appreciate some leads in finding a manual, copy of manual or a
.pdf file. The scope works, but I really want to find out the required
probe characteristics and how to set up and use the component testing
portion.

THANKS in advance......John Bunting
