[Test-Equipment] HP 8568B H96 Spectrum Analyzer

Does anyone know what option 'H96' is for the HP 8568B Spectrum Analyzer?  I can't find it mentioned in the older catalogs that I have.  The closest I've come, so far, is a cryptic comment on one equipment reseller's web site that it "adds V waveform measurements."

What in the world does that mean?

I'd like to know because I'm part way through my attempts at repairing one, and I want to ensure that I don't mess anything up because of my ignorance regarding this option.
