This is a persistant problem. I've had a load of equipment destroyed this way,m
including Tek plug-ins, PAR preamps, and  Canberra Multi-Channel Analyzers. just
to name a few. Clean up the crud and get new batteries from Digi-Key. They make
up packs, which will surely leak sooner or later. The all do
