     Anyone familiar with auctions knows the terminology for "minimum 
selling price."  It's simply called "the reserve."  The purpose of a seller 
establishing "the reserve" is to set their minimum selling price.  It's as 
simple as that.  Any buyer and/or seller should be familiar with this 
terminology if they're going to play in the game.
