[Test-Equipment] HP182 as 50 or 75MHz oscilloscope and HP8558A spectrum analayser plug-in unit

Happy New Year!

Discovered that one of my HP182C scopes has vertical amplifier 1801A and =
it is marked 50MHz, while the other has type 1808A and it is marked =
75MHz.

Wonder if somebody knows what the difference is and whether the old unit =
may be modified for 75MHz ? I have access to the manuals*, but believe =
it is for the 1801A type only.

Also have 8558A (w/manual). Believe it was a modification to be done for =
use with the spectrum analyser, some of the controls on the upper right =
does seem to function properly as they are today.
