Hi folks I just joined the list but been doing my homework reading the last
2 years archives....and very interesting it is too. Its nice to know there
are lots of other "nutters" like me around !! A few comments first:

A source of manuals I have not seen mentioned here but that I have had good
service from is Cooke International Ltd in the UK http://www.cooke-int.com/
They have a substantial priced cat. I have no connection other than as a
satisfied customer. Most of the recent purchases from them have been
manufacturers originals....they will do copies too.

My "wants"
1) The logsa site is a gem (after I found out how to use it) but has anyone
a .pdf of the HP 8554 manual. Its the one module of the 141 series Spec An
that does not seem to be there (I have paper copies but a CD with the lot on
would take up much less space...the 141 farme is big enough !!....and I am
too idle to scan mine!!

2) I have searched bama and all the usual sites but have drawn a blank on
the following Telonic kit
Telonic sweeper Model 1019 ...this is a model covering domestic radio bands
450kHz, 10.7MHz, MW,and Band II (88-108MHz) It works but I would like to
"bend" some of the modules...to more useful frequencies.

3) Telonic module SH-1M , this is a UHF plug in for an old tubed SM2000
chasis, packed full of things I'd never seen before called Compactrons. I
have a manual for the SM2000 chasis, but not the plug-in.

4) I have a quantity of Marconi Instruments (recently ifr and now someone
else) gear most of which I have manuals for. I am looking for some help with
an ifr/Marconi 2945 (radio test set) service manual ( or at least some basic
service information around the input attenuator). I do have a Service manual
for the 2955 and am willing to help on problems with that one as much as I
am able...some of the manual is now in pdf form but only "useful bits"....it
is quite big.....and several have been "repaired over the internet"

5) Wandel & Goltermann PS-3 which is the source (generator) compamion to the
SPM-3 selective level measuring set ...service manual required ( I have a
manual for the SPM-3 in scanned form as a "swap" ??) I also have the
operating manuals for SPM-12 / PS-12 in electronic form. Circuits I have in
paper form but they are all A3s.

Did Jose get his manual site set-up?? It occured to me that it could be a
co-operative effort where others could offer to help fill Jose's gaps, by
providing lists of other manuals they possess and are willing to share. It
might become a monster to manage !!

A Happy Christams to the Group
