Hi Dave,
I would be interested in seeing the photo-but for academic reasons.
I have what sounds to be a later version of the same system here, complete
with all documentation. But this one is (apart from the CRT) all solid
state.
It is labelled as a Panoramic SSB-50 system and is made up from the
following items-
Singer MF-5 mainframe that takes plugins,
Type CA-5-1 500kHz spec an plugin,
TTG-3 Two Tone Generator, each generator, 20Hz to 20 kHz,
RF-8 Tuning Head (2-40 MHz),
REC-2 Range Extending Converter (10 Hz to 2 MHz)
If you like I can send you a jpeg of this one for comparison.
I have a couple of other MF-5 mainframes and other plugins as well but they
are stand-alone spec ans and don't have the extra stuff the SSB-50 includes.
