all:
military manuals are public domain once they're declassified: go to:
http://www.logsa.army.mil/etms/online.htm
to download free various ones - some are not available, but listed.
no need to pay someone for those available to everyone for no charge
i believe it was discussed earlier on one reflector that TeK advised
that manuals for equipment they no longer support were free to copy.

be advised that i read about PROSECUTIONS by various manufacturers
(mainly for late model) copyright infringement (/\/\ comes to mind).
many aren't concerned, others aggresively search for offenders.

i've not heard of HP going after offenders; but they do offer free
domain to some individuals for certain items - ie: check out the Museum
of HP Calculators; david hicks has a great relationship w/ HP regarding
CD's for sale for various HP calculator literature & manuals.
