Hello Robert,
The proposal to produce a Tek manual archive site came out on the
test equipment reflector in response to word from Tektronix that they
did not object to internet publication of tech manuals of long-
obsolete equipment.
And I agree that the original scan should be .gif or .tiff. But
Adobe Acrobat sure does a great job of compressing doc files down to
a size that won't tie up one's phone line for an eternity!
BTW, I've just returned from my first visit to your beautiful province.
Although we didn't make it up to Edmonton, Cagary was very reminiscent
of Denver, where I live, and the Lake Louise meeting site was simply
magnificent!
