This is a description of this series of standard inductor:

    The 1482 Standard Inductor is an accurate, highly stable standard of=

    inductance for use as a low-frequency reference or working standard in=

    laboratory. Records extending over 13 years, including those of=20
inductors that
    traveled to national laboratories in several countries for calibration,=
=20
show
    long-term stabilities well within =B10.01%. It is a uniformly wound=20
toroid on a
    ceramic core. It has a negligible external magnetic field and hence=20
essentially no
    pickup from external fields.
