Have you tried loading the image into a photo processing program 
(LView, Thumbsplus, etc.) and streching the contrast to make the
lines more readable. Also, one can set one's printer to do 'high
contrast' printing, where an color other than white prints as
black, not gray. You'll find it in your printer setting menu
in Winblows.

I have a 475 manual somewhere, and if all else fails I'll see about
scanning it and uploading to tek scope archives
