[Test-Equipment] HP-8640A Signal Generator

I have one of the HP-8640A Signal Generators which I like
and use often. The meter scale was/is way off (reads 40% 
low) and I now discover that the manual is for HP-8640A 
with serial number prefixes of 1348A and other 12xxA and 
13xxA prefixes. This machine has a 2333A prefix and is 
substantially different.

Anyone have any ideas on what's wrong (step attenuators,
and the rest works fine ....just the meter amplifier looks like
it's bad), and anyone have a manual they would like to swap.
