[Test-Equipment] Network Analyzers

Hello all,

I am looking around at vector network analyzers for work and since I've
never used one, I need some advice from those more experienced than I.  I
want the thing to use to retune and match multiple parallel solid state amps
in the low power TV transmitters that we have. (I have a bunch to
rechannel). I started looking at the HP8754A series with the 8502 test set,
but discovered a reconditioned HP 8712C for about the same money which could
also have the Fault locator option (100) added which would allow me to
locate transmission line faults. So far it sounds good, but what are the
rest of the questions that I need to ask as well as any other model
recommendations that won't break the budget?
