Gil, regarding the drop in output at the high end...

Make sure the equipment you are using to measure the output is
up to the task.  You might be hitting an upper limit of the
equipment you are using.

I got bit by this on the other side.  I was measuring the output
of an 8640B/323 with my HP-432, and so a real drop off at about
8 MHz.  It took me a while to realize I was beyond the lower limit
of the 478A probe.  When I looked at the signal on my HP-3400A and
Tek 7904 everything was fine.
