[TenTec] Test

Wayne,

Sorry about the problems with the Omni VII. I am told the new owner is planning to redesign the OMNI VII. I know it is frustrating after spending on the VII. I have a lot of new gear but I really like an old FT-980 I just replaced the battery in the memories tonight. I have my original that is receive only and a third that I have on 60 meters. The problem with that FT-980 is that it cuts out over 60 watts and I have to repair them myself.
W4NU got so mad at Ten-Tec that he switched to Elecraft K3's. I prefer my newer FT-1000MP MK V 200 watts transceiver where you can control both VFO's directly.

I have probably worked you before as I was K5MDX from 1957 to 1973 and K4JRB ever since. I did work N2WB from YI9PSE on 40. I have worked him from a bunch of places. That TF2WJN sounds familiar as I worked several GI's from there years ago. One was Eloy W5ILR/TF. Guess now TF/W5ILR is the correct call sign.
