Hi John,
I am glad that I was finally able to make one of the Ten-Tec nets. When
I was listening on 40, it was just too rough and didn't think I would
make the trip. And, with some help, I did get the job done. I have a
fantastic rig, but really hurting in the antenna department. Right now I
just have a short 'long wire' and the Omni VII wasn't really happy with
it. It does better on 40. Hopefully once the snow is history for a few
months, I can get up a REAL antenna. I haven't run high power in years.
I did in the 80's when I was the Oklahoma SM for the league, but haven't
since.
I am about 8 miles South of the Mass. line and Northwest of Hartford. In
the Connecticut hills.
Hope to see you all next Sunday, and I will try 40 too.
Thanks for all your work on getting the net together and running it.
73,
Art
