[TenTec] TEN-TEC NETS TODAY

I want to address a concern that was recently directed to me. For the first 9 1/2 months since the TEN-TEC SSB nets were revived after several years of dormancy (no net activity), I have stated at the beginning of every net (and I still do) that, "The purpose of the TEN-TEC net is to acknowledge and check in every station that we can hear. Also, to exchange information and to ask questions about any TEN-TEC product".
Anyone is free to call "contact" or "question" or "recheck" in order to ask a question or to divulge any pertinent information about a TEN-TEC product. On 40 meters we have had the priviledge of having John Henry, TEN-TEC Engineer check into the net on several occasions and we have had people speak to him directly. On 20 meters, this is not possible most of the time, because of propagation and I have not checked John Henry into the 20 meter net as of yet.
Since the TEN-TEC Certificate program was initiated on January 20, 2013 by Jim Wharton NO4A, Vice President TEN-TEC INC., the checkins on both the 40 and 20 meter SSB net have doubled and it has made it more difficult for exchanging information between people on the net. But, anyone is still free to ask questions and if necessary we can find someone who is erudite in the area of your question or problem and you can move to another frequency. We would also encourage you to return to the net.
Like any other new thing, idea, inovation or change, there will always be someone who says, "we never done it this way before". Try telling this to our boss at work or to the new coach on the football team and see what their answer will be.
Please be patient with me, as I am trying to accomodate everyone that tries to check into the nets. This is why I am asking for relays on every net. Thank you for your understanding in this very sensitive matter.
This is reminder that the TEN-TEC 40 meter net will meet today (Sunday) at 20:00 UTC (3PM Eastern Time) on 7.260 LSB and the 20 meter net will follow at 21:00 UTC (4PM Eastern Time) on 14.325 USB.
It would be a great help if several people will try to secure the frequency prior to each net. Also, I am relying on people to relay any station that may be weak at my Atlanta Area location.
We want to be able to hear and to check in everyone that is attempting to call in. Thank you for your help.
