Anyone out there turning on the Hercules II remotely?

I'm now set up to turn on my OMNI VII over the phone line then operate it over the Internet.  Wouldn't it be dandy if I could turn on the Hercules II as well?  

The monster power supply for the Hercules II, the 9420, has a remote on feature which is designed to turn on when a transceiver powered by amplifier power supply goes on.  Well my OMNI VII isn't powered by the Hercules II power supply.  But can I use that circuit to power up the Herc II?  Seems like it should work.

Anyone doing this?
