[TenTec] antenna tuner

Hi Mark,
Can you make your dipole 133 feet overall?
You will get a better match for 80m at that
length.

For an efficient multi-band dipole you want to
feed it with open wire feeder, like 450 ohm.
This antenna will be a doublet so you must
Use a balanced line tuner and you will have
a good multi-band antenna 80M to 10M.

Do not worry about an automatic tuner. After
you have adjusted a manual balanced tuner
to all bands, just write down the numbers and
you can switch bands quickly and do it with
a much cheaper tuner than an automatic one.

You can run high power to the doublet if you
have a high power tuner, like one of the MFJs.
