HI Ed,
    I'll jump in on this.  It sounds like this is the list that's more 
suited to you, as it is for me.  I have an Omni V, love it, not ready to 
part with it.  Also have a Triton IV like the one that started me on TenTec 
gear back in about 1975.  I've had at least 1 TenTec rig all thru those 30+ 
yrs, several at some times.  I've gotten help from guys here in the past, 
and am sure I will again.
    Making your wants known here, and just watching hamfests, etc, should 
net you a nice rig, just have a bit of patience.
