Thinking about it... You need to turn off the keyer in the Jupiter if there is one built in to use the straight key. On my radio I have the options of Bug, paddle, or off. And of course you use "off" to use the straight key. On my Qrp rig the options are Hnd, Pdl reverse and Normal.
