Rick,
I use the RCA plugs in the back for mike in and audio out. From the sound
card Line out, it goes to a 10K pot. From the swinger on the 10K pot, to a
1:1 radio shack isolation transformer and to the RCA plug for audio
in. From the RCA plug audio out, it goes to the Line in, or microphone if
your sound card has no line in. I have also used an isolation transformer
in this line and it helps reduce the hum on the screen display a
little. To key the rig, the key line and the rear PTT line are in
parallel, so a single 2N222 transistor or 4N25 opti-isolator will key CW or
PTT. There are several keying circuits on the Internet, or you can buy
one. To adjust the audio, use the windows sound a=]card controls, and the
10k pot.
