[TenTec] Orion Tuning Knobs

For those of you with the Orion:

Do you notice a difference in the "feel" of 

the VFO A vs VFO B knobs when the knobs have been 

spaced about 1/4" away from the panel so the little

friction pads are not affecting the "drag?"
