Jim ... I didn't see my comments posted, but I certainly do thank you
for keeping this list. It's much appreciated.

It looks like the idea of closing this list is a bad one, so I've
decided to leave well enough alone.
Many of you have sent well-reasoned replies already as to why the list
should remain.
So, I'm not even going to wait to make the decision.
I've learned a lot from the input. Mostly, those who replied said that
they prefer a list
with less traffic; basically a quality versus quantity issue. Others
felt that their requests
for assistance were better served on this list. Others confused the
lists at the
Contesting.com site with strictly contesting. While there are some
discussions of
contesting there, the Ten-Tec list is mostly related to the T-T products.
Many of you are subscribed to both lists. Some commented on the
personalities and
S/N at Contesting.com. My style of list management is to let the
discussion flow freely.
I have rather few rules, and try to enforce them fairly. Off-topic
discussions generally
don't bother me, unless they degrade into some never-solvable argument.
I'm also a
strong believer in the use of the DELETE key and filters.
Really, it's no big deal to manage both lists, especially with the low
traffic and few
problems on this one.
So...enjoy!
