[TenTec] OMNI VI question

Dear friends!

I have just bought a TenTec OMNI VI from an estate, have not seen it yet,
but I did know the old DX'er who passed away less than a month ago, and I
know that he was very careful with his equipment.

My questions are:

    1    There are the OMNI VI but also OMNI VI opt 1, OMNI VI opt 2 and
OMNI VI+   What are the differences?

    2    Can upgrades be done if the one I bought is just an OMNI VI ?
