Thanks for the response.  Well, I guess I had the situation under control
about the external 'weight' control based on the responses that I
received over the weekend via the thread.  I did look at the hyper link
that was on your web page for the KR-5A keyer.  The picture that you have
indexed there does clearly show that there IS a weight control.  So
again, I'm not sure what to think.  Perhaps you could look at your
instruction manual for the KR-5A (605) and see if there is a separate
control shown (perhaps for an earlier version of the keyer?).  I would be
interested to hear out what you find out.
