[TenTec] Anyone else notice this on the RX-340?

Every 50KHz, I get a distinct audible 'click' or pop noise then the digit changes from 5 to a 6. Example:

Using a 1KHz step in AM mode, tune to 14.995.000 and rock the VFO knob back and forth to 14.996.000 and back to 14.996.000. Each time it goes from 5 to 6, I get click, click, click. This is quite noticeable, especially on strong signals. However, I notice it when no signals are present as well. It is relatively annoying when just tuning around...

Every 50KHz I get this internally generated pop. Example:

14.996.000
15.046.000
15.096.000
15.146.000, and so on. This happens throughout the spectrum...

I wonder if anyone else is having this happen on their RX-340's?
