ok Jim thanks I just found my manual and there is some good words on
there, let me see if I can figure it out. I haven't run the scout for a
long time and really enjoyed using, have all the modules except 160 and
never had trouble getting out with it. Again thanks for the reply and 73

Hi David,
You WILL need some type of interface. I've forgotten if the
Scout uses a transistor or relay for amplifier control. Either
way it wouldn't be able to switch the SB-200 relay. The SB-200
uses a 120V AC relay, one side is switched to ground. You would
be wise to make up a remote box with a 12v DC relay for the Scout
to switch and be sure that the contacts will handle 120V AC at a
few hundred ma.
