[TenTec] RE: Problem with Century 21 Digital

Hi Gene,

Terrific. I prepared most of my note from my memory. I
had to get to my manual down in the shack to get the
details.

I've had two (2) Century 21 rigs over the years. I've
got a Digital model now and I run mine at 5W all the
time because of an interference problem with a touch
lamp. Anything higher than 10W and the lamp begins to
cycle through its settings, which is highly annoying.

My mother-in-law has a touch lamp to help her see and
operate it because of her eye sight. She is legally
blind and the touch sensor makes it easy for her to
operate the lamp and the high contrast it provides
helps her to see better.

Look for me on 40mtrs. I usually listen near 7040. I
have a Rock-Mite to finish for that band. I serious
about QRP operation.
