[TenTec] DXbase and the TenTec Orion

I don't own and Orion and unfortunately I probably
never will :-( , but I thought you might be
interested to know that the totally free and well
supported logging program XMLOG (www.xmlog.com)
supports the Orion. This is not an attempt to
compare it with other logging programs but it may
be of interest to some of you. I am completely
pleased with what it does for me for daily
logging, DX record keeping and reporting and other
functions. It has a fine packet interface. It
interfaces well with my puny little Jupiter. The
QSO entry is not designed for contesting. Let me
hasten to add that I have not talked with anyone
who has used it with an Orion, but it does
indicate that it supports it.
