I recently acquired a Corsair(1 not 2)..It is in beautiful cosmetic =
condx with the remote vfo and matching 260 p.s.=20
I am experiencing an interesting problem. I get reports of audio on ssb =
that is a little rough on the edges...but the major problem is that the =
rig puts out a spurious signal(loud) about 11-14khz each side of the =
transmit freq. I had reports of this as soon as I put this rig on the =
air plus one guy sent me an email. I shut down..put the rig into a dummy =
load and monitored the output in another receiver...big problem! that =
loud spurious sig is very noticeable..tried the rig on both 20 and 17 at =
various power levels..same thing ..no adjustment from the front panel =
solves the problem. I would appreciate any wisdom before I box this =
thing up and send to Ten Tec...73..Jeff..W0XV
