I hope you are successful and pass with flying colors!
My only thought would be to get a Jupiter instead of a Pegasus. I have
nothing in particular against the Pegasus, never used one, but think the
Jupiter, which is just a Pegasus built into a "radio" would provide you an
additional dimension. I think that a Jupiter doesn't cost much more than a
Pegasus plus a control knob.
With the Jupiter, it can act exactly like a Pegasus, if you want. Or you
can run it like most other radios, from the front panel. I think as a
newbie, you will gain some good experience from "radio" operation. If it
doesn't do anything for you, you can move back to Pegasus and no one is the
wiser!
