you could put two 12v bulbs in series and use it with the S-line.

Does anyone know what bulbs would replace the 12 volt bulbs in the 229 
so that I could run the TenTec 229 from the 6.3 volts available in my 
S-Line.  There is no 12 volts available in the S-Line.
