Osten:
Good luck on your quest for a Hercules II.  I am sure you will enjoy
the amplifier.

The Hercules II has been absolutely trouble free in the 13 plus years
of constant use in my shack.  It's seen use with the Corsair I (the C-II
will not auto bandswitch the amp), Paragon, Omni VI+, Pegasus (auto
bandswitch with N4PY software) and now the Orion.  Unless the
Hercules has been heavily abused there should not be a need for
replacement finals or vacuum relays.  There is no reason to believe
that a well cared for Hercules II won't give many more years of service.

I'm now waiting for TT to come out with the Hercules III to match the
Orion!
