I think you are talking about the "Argonaut V Plus", the 50 or 100 W version I would have bought if they had designed it that way instead of as a QRP radio! Would be good for mobile as well
as portable and as a compact home station.

I was actually looking for an easy to operate HF SSB radio to go with my XYL's new General license (W1NCY). I think 20W is just too much of a hurdle for a beginner, otherwise it was perfect.

Perhaps they will come out with a 50 W "Scout 2" version some day?
