[TenTec] scout AC supply, plus Omni AC supply question ????

thanks to all who responded to my inquiry about an AC supply for  the scout.  let me expand the question a little.

does anyone  know how the tentec supply compares to the astron switching supply (e.g. would i necessarily be better off with the tentec?)?  a small power supply could have some advantages.  on the other hand, one large supply that can power several different rigs might be nice.

i'm also considering getting an Omni V or Omni VI.  i've been told that the Omnis are very sensitive to supply voltage thus it is important to only use the tentec AC supply with an Omni.  anyone here substantiate or refute that?  if this is the case, it seems that as i scour the used market i should only consider rigs that are paired with the matching tentec AC supply (and have always been with a tentec supply).  or would an Omni be safe with an Astron?
