Hi All,
Sometime ago, I asked for assistance with removing the
Mixer/Oscillator board from an Omni 546C. Well, I
finally tackled this job because I provided the
connections to my crystal bank were defective.
What a task! I had to remove many of the boards to
disconnect the ground connections and I had to remove
many of the screws from the front panel as well. I
only had to remove one (1) connection to the board, a
purple wire, because it was too short to leave
connected. I have an extensive collection of screws in
a container near the rig waiting for the next step,
reassembly.
I want to thank the list subscribers their help.
