The Ten-Tec Model 100 is a Civil Air Patrol medium-power SSB transceiver
with eight crystal-controlled channels. There are two user-selected
frequencies between 4.400 and 4.800 MHz, 4.5820, 7.6350, 7.9185,
11.9735, 14.9050, and 20.8730 MHz. Operating mode is A3J, upper
sideband on all channels except LSB on 14.0905 MHz. Rated power output
is 58 =96 100 watts @13.5 Vdc input. The design dates from the Corsair=
era ( mid 80s). The radio is not currently approved for commercial or
CAP operation. This transceiver would not be very easy to convert to
amateur-band operation. Except as a fairly rare collector=92s item it is=
probably not very valuable.
