[TenTec] Shipping Items to Ten-Tec

Maybe I'm missing the obvious here, but even if Ten Tec is now shipping
FedEx instead of UPS, they can still RECEIVE packages via UPS. So if you
shipped it via UPS, wouldn't they still receive it at the same time as
before?

FYI
Ten-Tec has changed from UPS to FedEx as its shipper, and therefore
all shipments out of Ten-Tec will be via FedEx. I learned to my
disappointment that the service of FedEx out of Oklahoma City is zero when I
sent something to Paul Service Department FedEx.
Previously I have used UPS, sending a pachage to TT on Monday and the
packages have been delivered about 11:00 AM of Wednesday. That gave two and
a
half working days that week for the service people to get me in line.
Sent something Monday of this week and it was delivered at 4:00 PM
on
Thursday, just in time to have not two and a half days, but only one day
before Saturday to address my concern.
FedEx hub route from OKC is circuitious and about 350 miles farther
to
Sevierville than is UPS. We don't have lots of choices these days, so it
pays
to be aware. I suggest you check the hub route your shipper follows on the
way to TT. Otherwise your precious gear may spend more time in the hub
warehouses than on the workbench at Ten Tec. And of course, shipments from
Sevierville to Oklahoma all now have to go through Fort Worth rather than
direct. Adding miles and overnights.
Probably other areas will be bettered. Oklahoma is not.
