We arrive at Registration and sign in at the volunteer
table before 7:30am, get to our assigned spot before
8am, and are done and out of there by 11am. This is
probably the easiest and shortest volunteer
communications event you'll ever participate in.

You will receive a 25th Anniversary Azle Lake Run
T-Shirt when you sign it at the volunteer table.

Park at the high school, registration is at the
Elementary School on the other end of the same parking
lot as the high school. Sometimes there is closer
parking, sometimes there is not.

Claim your assignment (but be flexible) from this
list, let's have a good showing for our own sponsored
event!

Frequency is 147.16+ 110.0 WB5IDM repeater
Backup Frequency is 147.420 Simplex
Map is available on http://www.azlelakerun.org

Try to have the above three items ready in advance.
As usual bring extra batteries, pencil, pocket
notepad, water / drinks / snacks, hat, sunscreen.
Bring a stopwatch or be ready to set your wristwatch's
stop watch when the gun sounds.

The items showing mobile cand be mobile or handheld.
The items showing handheld really should be handheld.

1. Net Control (mobile)
2. Race Director (must be quick on your feet)
(handheld)
3. Start line / Registration / Ambulance (handheld)
4. Finish Line / Results (handheld)
5. Shady Grove Park Vantage Point
          (mobile)
Stribling drive between the two entrances of
       Shady Grove Park.
6. Kimbrough at Stribling Intersection (mobile)
7. Aid Station at Oak Harbor (mobile)
8. Runner's entrance at Hornet Stadium (mobile)
9. Ash at Carpenter
10. Dunaway at Walnut

If you have NEVER done one of these volunteer events,
this is the great way to get started, because it will
be obvious what to do once you get there. Net control
will issue instructions.

Also, anyone interested, we usually meet for breakfast
before the event, or lunch after? (It's about two
blocks from Skinny's).

Also, some of your family members might want to
participate in the walk or the run: they can register
at http://www.azlelakerun.org

Regards,

David KB5YLG
