[TCARC-NTX] RACES activation pending

Azle Fire Chief Will Scott has notified me that
Azle will have 2 shelters for Evacuees due to overflow
in the metroplex.  The evacuee cleasringhouse will be
centralized in Burleson Texas.  Due to
telecommunication problems (busy circuits) and
interoperability problems between agencies Tarrant
County RACES may be activated to assist in the
communications.  Azle would need an operator at the
Municipal Center and the  two shelters.  Chief Scott
asked that we prepare by identifying potential
operators.  In the case of a communications outage we
should report on location automatically, but otherwise
wait for the call.

Eligibility:  Licensed Radio Operator, Member of
Tarrant County RACES or Parker RACES.

Let me know you days and times of availability if you
meet the criteria.
