Well, especially since I'm not gonna be here for the Hamfest... I'll
let the Chairman and others answer that for the club.

Jerry,

Would it be too much to allow someone that takes a VE test at NCTECH to
enter the hamfest area free by just showing a CSCE? I know that since
the two events are in different buildings an admission can be charged
for the hamfest part. Just thought that allowing a one time "free
pass" for the CSCE might offer encouragement for those that earn a new
license or for those that earn an upgrade. The new license holders
(Technicians) could look at, and hopefully, buy a new radio. Those
with upgrades could learn about opportunities for service within the
amateur radio community (R.A.C.E.S., Skywarn, etc.)

Again, just thinking. Until later. 73.

No Bob, you don't need to pay admission to the hamfest to take any of
the VE tests. They should be separate from the hamfest building. Of
course that means you won't get to see what is going on inside the
hamfest, unless you pay the $4 to go in and brag about your new upgrade
after you take your test!

I don't think there's any charge for parking, either.
