Fred,
I will be there to help set tables up, I am going to be setting up a trailer
in the tailgate area weather depending.
I will bring my digital camera for pictures, I hope my Son is there to help
with the sale of stuff from the trailer so I can also take pictures and buy
some more stuff if I find anything.
We will be there for cleanup also.
Be aware, I have been trying to come up with a way to fund the new repeaters
going on the tower. To do this I am going to be selling "stuff" at the Ham
Fest to help with the upkeep and development of the repeater systems that
are going on the tower. Since I got laid off it's been harder to get the
money together, any money I make at the Ham Fest will go into the repeater
system, so buy a lot!
I am going to have a Dewalt 14.5 drill and 5 inch power saw with a carbide
tipped blade for sale along with some other battery operated drills as well
as a lot of other things. There will be a 190 foot roll of 7/8 inch Heliax
with at least one connector for sale also. There will be a lot of "stuff"
so be there and help support the repeater systems!

OK Gang, as promised, I'm looking for volunteers to help with the various
tasks at
NCTECH. We'll need help with the following areas:
1. Setting up tables and chairs - this needs to be done on Friday night,
November 11th.
2. Getting the coffee brewing, with cups, etc
3. Donut detail - Saturday morning
4. Talk-in station - this will probably be done from the newly-washed TCARC
Communications traler. We need to have multiple volunteers for this so one
person
isn't stuck doing it and misses the hamfest.
5. Set up of podium w/amplifier and mic, projector and screen for
presentations
6. Coordinator for the tailgaters parking (WX-dependent)
7. Admissions - (handling the entry fees and sign-in sheets) We need
multiple
volunteers here also.
8. Photographer - someone to capture the event for posterity
9. Cleanup crew - licensed broom handlers and mop swingers requested.
10. Door prize and program announcer
Did I miss anything?
