[TCARC-NTX] TriCounty Radio Club meeting

Hi Rich:

I wanted to extend an invitation to you and your family to come to the club 
meeting / Christmas party on Saturday December 10, at 5 PM.  It will be a 
pot luck dinner and chinese gift exchange, ($10 limit) if you want to 
participate.  I enclose Jerry's directions to his QTH, as he lives deep in 
the backwoods and I can never find him without a great deal of hand holding.

It will be a great opportunity for you to meet all the club members without 
the annoying distraction of actual club business.  :)

 From the south, take hwy 199 to Springtown. At FM 51 stoplight, turn
north. Continue on 51 for about 3 miles to county road 3696 (CR 3696).
Heads up on the approach to CR 3696 are the Springtown city limit
sign, Byron Mathis concrete sign, Annis Church sign (all on the left)
at the turn.

Turn left on CR 3696 and continue west about 1.2 miles, you will see
the Annis Church on your right. Go past the church about 100 feet,
turn left on PR 3803 (not marked) it is just as you come out of the S
curve.

First house on the left, brick with gray trim, 129 PR 3803 is the
address on the mailbox. Big tower/antenna in the back yard.

To get here from the north (hwy 114) take 114 to FM 51 south. Turn
south on 51 (marked by flashing yellow lights), continue about 8 miles
to CR 3696. Look for the landmarks mentioned above at CR 3696, they
will be on your right coming from this direction. Another heads up on
the approach to CR 3696 from this direction is a sign for SHOW PRO on
the right about a tenth of a mile from CR 3696.

Turn right on CR 3696 and continue west about 1.2 miles, you will see
the Annis Church on your right. Go past the church about 100 feet,
turn left on PR 3803 (not marked) it is just as you come out of the S
curve.

APRS look for N0JY-5 (beacons only once an hour). Position 33 degrees
00.56 minutes north, 97 degrees 41.86 minutes west.
