Who of you are planning to attend our Field Day at Ash Creek Park?  We
have station managers lined up already: N5WLA, K5PSB, N5GMJ, N0JY
(Satellite stn.), KB5YLG.  We will need operators and loggers for those
stations during the 24 hour period.
We also have a number of bonus categories that we can try for:
1. Media Publicity - we need someone to get us into the local paper with a
little write-up about our event.  We'll also need a copy to submit with
our entry to the ARRL when it's all over.
2. Public Info Table - we can get another 100 points by manning a table at
the site to answer questions and hand out Amateur Radio information. 
We'll need to submit photos, a club flyer from the event or a copy of a
vistor's log as proof for this bonus.
3. Message Handling - sending out 10 messages via NTS will "net" us
another 100 points.  Copies will need to be submitted for proof.
4. Message origination to the Section Manager - this is good for another
100 points and is in addition to the other 10 messages in #3.
5. Alternate power - we can get an easy 100 points for making 5 QSOs using
a method of power other than commercial mains or petroleum driven
generator.  If someone has a solar panel that is capable of charging some
gel cells, that is an acceptable form of alternate power.
6. W1AW Bulletin - 100 points for copying the bulletin.  Multiple
opportunities will be available; it will be transmitted multiple times
during the event.  A copy needs to be submitted with the log entry.
7. Non-traditional mode demo - 100 pts./mode, up to 300 pts.  Modes
allowed: ATV, SSTV, portable packet, APRS.
8. Site visitation by an elected Gov't official - 100 pts. if an elected
official shows up at the event as a result of our invitation.
9. Site visitation by representation of an agency - Red Cross, local Emer.
Mgmt., law enforcement, Salvation Army - a rep from one of these agencies
showing up as a result of our invitation is good for another 100 points.
10. GOTA - 100 points for making 100 QSOs from the GOTA station.
I'm looking for volunteers to take on particular bonuses.  If a particular
bonus interests you, please let me know that you're willing to take it on.
